Mrs. Vuola's famouse Ricotta Cake Recipe

RICOTTA CAKE

 

1 Package Butter Cake Mix
          Mix according to package directions

 Mix the following in a separate bowl:

          2 lbs whole milk Ricotta cheese

          3 eggs added one at a time

          2 tsp vanilla extract

    ½ cup of sugar

Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Pour cake mix into the pan. Pour cheese mixture over the top of cake. Do not stir into cake mix. Bake one hour at cake mix temperature. Let cool thoroughly, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
